Dear Parents,
I am glad that your son/daughter has chosen to take Adventure Physical Education this semester. This course involves team building initiatives, high ropes courses and rock climbing. Your son/daughter will also be involved with outdoor cooking, kayaking and canoeing. All of these activities will be taught here at school in a safe non-threatening environment.
This is my first year teaching at Niles West High School and I am very excited to get started. I received my Teaching degree form northern Illinois University in the Spring of 1993. I started my teaching career at Barrington High School. At Barrington I taught Adventure Ed., Lifeguarding and swimming. I also have been coaching swimming and water polo for the past six years.
